Orchestra 101

Join the Ann Arbor Symphony Orchestra in a musical partnership that integrates symphonic music into your school�s curriculum. In a year-long learning experience, schools will:

• hear all four ensembles from the A²SO

• prepare for the youth concert throughout the year using the curriculum

• attend the March Youth Concert

• receive a visit from Maestro Arie Lipsky just prior to the March Youth Concert

• select from the various other youth programs, including attending a dress rehearsal (grade limitations do not apply to Orchestra 101 schools)

Teachers are invited to attend the Teacher's Workshop led by Arie Lipsky.

This complete enrichment program stimulates your students' creativity while building important skills, such as listening, history, performance and verbal skills.

Limited number of schools allowed in this program. Youth Concert fees, Ensemble fees, and some other youth program fees still apply. Conductor Visits are free.
